Gobi Manchurian




I dedicated this receipe to my sister. She has been asking this receipe for long time, but I dont have time to reply her.

Anu akka, Here you go. Gobi Manchurian !!


Cut the cauliflower florets and put it in hotwater with a pinch of salt for 5-7 mins.

In a bowl, take some corn flour,multi purpose flour, chilli powder & salt. Add water and make it something like batter. Dip the cauliflower florets to get light coating of this batter.

Heat the oil in a pan and add couple florets in the batter bowl and deep fry it and keep it aside.


For Manchurian Masala :

Onion - 2 to 3
Green chilli - 1
Peeled Garlic cloves - 5 to 6
Curry leaves (optional)
Ginger
Garam masala
Pinch of kasthuri Methi
Soy sauce
Tomato Ketchup

In a pan, heat oil & add the chopped onion, chilli, ginger and minced garlic. Add salt and curry leaves (optional) and then add kasthuri methi and all the sauces I mentioned above. 
Add water & let it everything mix together for a minute or two.

Now add the fried florets and mix everything together. Keep stirring until all the florets get a nice coating and aroma of masala.

At the end, add spring onion to garnish.
